The Dutch Hook is to the continuous ridge line what the Dutch Clip is to webbing suspension. Made of titanium this little mighty hook will hold up to the strongest winds and only weighs 0.4 grams. It ties or splices to the end of your 1.75mm tarp line and you just simply reach around the tree and hook the line. A Tarp Flyz in the other side completes the ridgeline. You can also put the Dutch Hook onto Prusiks, and you have a quick release to detach your tarp from your ridgeline.

How to Hang a Continuous Ridgeline with Soft Shackles

The Dutchware continuous ridgeline consists of 35 feet of either yellow Zing-It!™ 1.75 mm, grey Lash-It!™ 1.75mm, or Reflect It, a Dutch Hook spliced on the end, either two soft shackles (of either grey Lash-It!™ 1.75mm or yellow Zing-It!™ 1.75mm) or two Tato Tato Tarp Connectors, and a Tarp Wasp at the other end. This is the easiest way to set up and center your tarp.
Continuous Ridgeline with Soft Shackles- We start with 35 feet of Lash-It!™, Zing-It!™, or Reflect It and splice a Dutch Hook on the one end. To connect and center your tarp we provide two soft shackles that work as prussics. Lastly there is a Wasp to connect your ridgeline to the opposing tree. This complete tarp connection system weighs only 19 grams.
