I like the longer 15″ loop. This allows extra length on the end of the loop for additional knotting options. I have noticed with the red color in particular, the color bleeds and fades a bit. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but somewhat disappointing. I have attached a photo where you can see some of the faded color on the 9″ loop I used at first compared to the 15″ loop I just purchased. I wanted to also include a photo showing where the color rubbed off on the becket straps that I attached the continuous loop to, but the stain was barely perceptible in the photo and I could only attach one photo.
I use a larks head that attaches to my bridge hammock dog bones and I also use a larks head on the suspension end with my beckett straps. I put a stopper knot on the beckett hitch end to give me something to grab to loosen it when I’m taking it down. The 15″ loops give me more material to work with for the knot on the end.
