Meet Cricket (patent pending), a lightweight, free-standing hammock stand! No staking required! Pound for pound, this is the strongest hammock stand on the market. In the past, it has been unthinkable that something this lightweight could be used as a two-person hammock stand, but Cricket is incredibly strong. This stand would work well outdoors for backyards, patios, campsites, and soccer/softball fields… AND it is also completely happy indoors as rec room furniture, a gaming chair, or even an extra sleeping space for guests. This stand rolls up nice and compact to fit neatly in the back of your vehicle or on your linen closet shelf.

    Lightweight, packs small, reliable

    janegillette

The stand packs up extremely easily, and is very small and lightweight. It’s easy to add to my gear. After I set it up once, I now see how simple it is to set up. I’ve used it for a few days at a time, and was incredibly surprised at how sturdy the stand is. I love it, and am so glad to have been able to add it to my kit!

This stand does work with the Chameleon, but you do need to make a bit of an adjustment: Untie the continuous loop and thread both ends of the loop on the carabiner. This shortens the 11ft hammock just enough to work.

    Darren Boyle

Would this ever be made longer to fit a Bridge Hammock like the Banyan Bridge?

    Disappointing process to take down.

    Bob Lang (verified owner)

For the cost of this product, I am extremely disappointed amount of effort involved in taking the stand down. The spring connectors tore my fingers up trying to depress the spring just enough in order to take sections apart. For the money invested, I would have expected a much easier method for taking the stand apart.
