Ridgeline Quilt Hook
$2.05
Ridgeline Quilt Hooks clip directly to your quilt’s shock cord and change the direction of your quilt suspension. Rather than pulling out to the ends of the hammock it makes it so your suspension is pulling up snugging the quilt tightly against your hammock. They are sold individually but 2 are recommended per quilt. They come in white or black. Get one of each color so you can easily tell which end is your head and foot. Designed and produced in the USA by Tato Gear.

Ridgeline Quilt Hook

Useful for beginners
For those who are still figuring out how much to cinch up their underquilt and playing with the tension, this ridgeline quilt hook can make any mistakes more forgiving. They bring the quilt up closer to your body and seal out any potential gaps. The key concept is they pull the underquilt up vertically. Even if you tighten down your underquilt suspension, they pull the quilt up and also outward. These hooks really seal the deal.

It will fit over however it will not fit in the hooks on either side. It will just will not click in to the very top with the 7/64th amsteel.

Great product for 3/4 Quilts! This is one of the best and simplest pieces of add-on gear available. I use extensively with my 3/4 length quilts. It does a great job of raising the angle of the foot-end suspension to help keep the bottom end sealed up against the hammock. A lighter weight option to triangle thingies and immensely easier to install and use!

Great addition to the quilt kitI have 4 of each color. They do just what Dutch shows in the video… they pull your quilt up more snugly against the bottom of the hammock. [Think “triangle-thingies”]
I have to knock off one star, because they cannot be used with hammocks with an integrated bugnet.
That is no deal breaker at this price.

Nice
Great little hook for your quilt, just make sure you are using thin enough shock cord for tour quilts or it won’t work as well.
Lifts the quilt up right where I need it to.

With almost 0 weight penalty these are ideal to leave a your Ridgeline especially for winter under quilts that are a little heavier.

Question
CS –
Is there a way to use these with a hammock with integrated bug net (with the bug net in use and not stored away)?

admin –
yes, they will work great. They sit on the bugnet and the holes are big enough that the shock cord moves throu them and the hook stays in one position. However there is a slot on the hook. Don’t clip it on the ridgeline pinching the net. That will cause damage.

AWESOME!
This is a great product. It totally changes the way my under quilt hangs. Makes it work better!! Totally worth the very small price.

Simple solution!
This is, by far, the simplest and least expensive solution to a common problem – draft down the end of the quilt. These pull up the ends of the quilt with just enough tension to support the end and prevent air from getting in and clawing its way down your back.

Just used these for a couple of nights and am very pleased.
Just used these for a couple of nights and am very pleased. I’ve occasionally had issues with underquilt drafts and have struggled to get my suspension “dialed in”. These hooks are super-easy to install and seem to work very well. Could easily be the best bang for the buck of any of my hammock gear.
