Will the hole in the Cinch Bug work with a spreader like the Beetle Buckle for hanging two Hammocks? I already have one Cinch Bug suspension. for my hammock. Wondering if I have to replace it for a tandem hang.

No, the hole is to small to accept the spreader bar pole.

Elegantly simple system – NOT Beetle buckles.

I ordered this system thinking it was the Beetle buckle from the Chameleon hammock as they look very similar. I want to make it clear that these do not work with the spreader bar as the beetle system does.

Although it wasn’t the product I thought it was it worked as expected. I used the dyneema straps and titanium dutch clips. This worked great with my 10′ net less dutch hammock and my Hennessy hammock, both have continuous loops on the ends.

Setup is a “Cinch” just wrap it around the tree and hook the continuous loop on the end! I like this setup because its easily transferable to a whoopy sling setup.

Yes, you will just need to order the straps and hardware separately. You do not have to order the straps we have “suggested” in the complete package.

    Hello,
When it states webbing hardware attached – i assume it is a webbing strap and buckle – a complete system?

  7. Question

    Justin Riddle

Couple questions regarding the cinch bug with continuous loops and spider/poly straps
    1. Is a loop tied into the end of the spider/poly straps so that I could run the strap through itself when hanging around the tree (instead of using a carabiner or Dutch clip). If so, how large are the loops?
    2. Can I order 2 different continuous loop colors?

    Thanks!

Our straps have one 3.5 inch loop sewn on one end of the strap. Also yes, if you would like two different colors simply leave your request in the notes field of your order.
