$54.90

Rain pants are great in colder weather as they will not only keep the rain and snow off you but help you keep some of the warmth in. They will have a strip of VELCRO® Brand Hook and Loop on the bottom of each pant leg to seal the pants closed at the bottom. You will be able to cinch down the waist as it will have shock cord fed through a cord lock making the pants adjustable for all different sizes. We have also put a pocket on the pants that will also double as a stuff sack to store your Rain Pants in.

These pants were as described! Extremely light and packable. The fit was loose to afford good mobility under hiking clothes. Looking forward to using them on my through hike of the AT 2020.

It will honestly depend on the size of your foot as you will have 22″ when measured all the way around the pant leg however some larger shoes or bigger feet may not fit through this. Another point to consider would be if you want whats on the bottom of your shoe on the inside of your pant leg.

as advertised with potential for iteration

The price is right, and the weight is great (mine came in at 69 g). I’d love to see options for xenon sil 1.1 and silnylon as I feel like having ripstop makes sense for pants. I was aware that these were going to be large (I’m 5′ 10″ with a medium build) and I’d like to see a normal sized option. The velcro ankle cinches are functional, but the range of adjustability seems like it falls a bit short of ‘tight enough’ when not wearing boots. The shock cord waste cinch is a fine idea, but the cord lock I got is rather weak and slips rather easily – not a big deal, but if it held tighter it would make it easier to double the waist of the pants over easier to adjust for shorter inseams. I could live without the integrated pocket, but it’s functional for stuff about the weight of a phone or less and it does make the pants more manageable in a pack which is were I hope they stay most of the time.

These will fit a 32″-38″ waist. We don’t have a hip size listed, but if you contact us via email we can help you out directly: [email protected]

  8. Question

    alain.oz

I would like to order one of your pants but !
I don’t know if I want a “ARGON WIND PANTS” or “XENON RAIN PANTS”.
    weight difference is negligible.
I am more looking for a light protection against Wind and maybe rain but I want something confortable and breathable.

    can you help?

Xenon is waterproof, but not breathable. Argon is breathable and wind/water resistant, but not waterproof. It sounds like you want to go with the Argon Wind Pants.
