This works exactly as described, easily attaching to a thin ridgeline and holding your phone at any angle you want for viewing (or getting out of the way.)
The one issue I have is that I use my fingerprint to unlock my phone, and that does not work thru the plastic sheet, so I am unable to do that while it is in the holder.
Having to remove the phone from the holder, unlock it, and place it back in the holder is a bit tedious, so I may look at trimming a hole in the front plastic sheet to allow for fingerprint unlock.

Has anyone tried to just put a MagSafe battery bank in the sleeve and connect their phone from the outside? I think it would work, but I’m not sure.

Plastic hardware snapped immediately when hooking to ridge-line and missing pieces. I will make the pouch work with my own cordage and knots but don’t waste your money.

The pouch is just the right size for my current phone (2025 Moto G Power 5G), but a larger phone might be tight. One of the “hubs” snapped – the split part, not the threaded part – as another reviewer stated. Maybe there was a bad batch of them that are a bit brittle? In any event, I found that the d-ring type piece that snaps into that also snaps into the “mini squeeze hook” (https://dutchwaregear.com/product/mini-squeeze-hook/) that I already have on my ridgeline for a peak shelf.
