This fits my Chameleon with winter top cover, sidecar, peak shelf, multiple storage pockets, a full set of tie-outs, and still has enough room to spare that I’ve accidentally included my headlamp and a small inflatable pillow (without noticing).
Unfortunately, as the fine-print states: “Hammock not included.”

I ordered one but it’s to small for what I need. Is there anyway to get one 9inx 18in?

This will hold a hammock and suspension, but it is not made for a hammock and underquilt.

Third Review: Contacted customer service and Dave helped me out with my double ended bag issues. He sent me repair tape to fix the holes but also noticed that my hammock fit tight in the double ended bag so he custom made me a bag which fits my hammock at no extra charge. Sent me the merchandise and all my issue are fixed. Great equipment, great customer service, and just an all around great company. I will be making a large purchase in the near future due to the great service I received. I highly recommend getting your outdoor gear from Dutch Ware Gear.
Second Review: Update on Double Ended Dyneema Bag as of 26 Oct 2020. I have had my double ended bag for about three months but have not been able to go hiking so the bag has sat in my back pack with my hammock inside. I noticed that there are two small thin tears forming right in the middle of the fabric. Almost as if the bag was being pulled apart. The hammock fits in the bag snug but not tight and it sits at the top of the bag and then the lid on top. The only thing I can think of is bad material was used on this bag. I will contact Dutch Ware Gear to see what can be done. Don’t have a good feeling if the bag can last a long distance hike.
First Review: I have been looking for a Dyneema Double ended bag for sometime and the only ones I found were of silk nylon which were light weight but not as light weight as the Dyneema. For the price of this bag and the weight, it is a good investment. The bag is well sewn and weighs 7 gm. The other bags come in at around 14 & 17 gm. The Dyneema Double ended bag fits my DD Frontline Hammock w/spider web straps or my Aqua Quest 10 x 7 feet tarp w/ 6 aluminum stakes and tie outs. I had ordered two double ended bag and received my order on a Friday and only one bag arrived. I emailed Dutchware and received my second bag on Tuesday by lunch time. Great customer service and great response time even with the customer service representative working off site due to the pandemic crisis we are going through. I recommend this bag to anyone trying to cut weight but not quality in their gear.

Question
MATT PASCALE –
Would this fit both a BlackBird XLC and a HG Phoenix 20*?

Alex Thomas –
It would likely fit the XLC but it wouldn’t fit both. It’s only meant for a hammock or similar sized item.

Hi,
Am posting again because I think it got missed the first time. I’m just wondering as to the possibility of getting these in the same sizes as your dyneema stuff sacks? I’d like to order several in the Large size of the stuff sack if that’s possible?
Cheers.

I ordered this double ended for my new Blackbird. The quality is second to none! Question. What size cord lock are you using. I would like to change out the lock to change the color so I can identify which is the head.

DutchWare Gear –
It is our mini cord lock and you will be fine as long as you stick with 2.2mm diameter or less for the rope.

Got this to reduce the grams. Yep, I’m counting them.
The merch, like always, great quality and craftsmanship! Thanks, Dutch and Co!
Just how much can I stuff in this here sack you ask? I crammed in my Chameleon wide double layer, ridgeline organizer, bug top, shock cord tie outs for both sides, 1/8″ continues loops standard length, Dutch biners, and finally 1/8th woopies. It fits like the standard stuff that Dutch and Co send with their hammocks. You may think that’s a tight fit but really it’s the same, just weighs less, which makes my plantar fascia bands happy!

What density of cuben fibre is used on these stuff sacks, and is the seam taped for water resistance/proofness? Thanks!

DutchWare Gear –
We use .51 dyneema composite fabric and the seam is water resistant.

Would a Clark mark 2 fit in this.

Not sure on this one. I do know they are bigger and take up more room. They are designed to fit our netless and chameleon hammocks.

I have used this Dyneema double ended stuff sack for several items. Main item used is my ultralight Trailheadz hammock sleep system. Another use was a down quilt that I needed stuffed in my backpack. I have had this stuff sack for 3 years and I use it every time I go out backpacking in one way or another. It is a well made lightweight stuff sack that I recommend buying for your backpacking needs.
