STRONG (but Sharp)Love the size, Love the weight, Love the strength….However, the machined edges around the opening and catch on the biner are sharp and snagged the threads of the loop in my Helios(tm) straps. I am considering adding a titanium ring to the line on my hammock and keeping the biner permanently attached to the straps to prevent any additional cutting/snagging.

Similar to a Whoopie HookI already had a whoopie sling and didn’t want to buy another one with a whoopie hook attached or rip open my current one. Instead, I ordered two of these biners and clipped them onto the end loops of my hammock. Easy peasy.

I would recommend either a regular weight bearing carabiner or the mantis hardware for this application as the dutch miner is not quite wide enough for webbing.

I am not sure how thick that is. We most commonly use them with the 1/8 or 7/64 amsteel

Unfortunately we do not have an exact time frame. They are on order and we should have the in stock in the next couple of weeks. I would suggest that you subscribe to the product and once we have them in stock we will send you an email notification.

So compact, so light, so strong, just crazy amazing in all honesty. Everything I’ve gotten from Dutch was as hot as an oven haha, but seriously it’s called bling for a reason it shines superbly for it’s uses and the quality is amazing couldn’t ask for more! The simplicity of use is as simple as you could ask for straight forward for the layman and perfect for those just looking for a simple solution. If I may add top notch customer service to boot! Thanks Dutch! Click snap done.

    Dutch Biners

I got a pair of biners for one of my hammocks and tried them. Since trying them I have put hem on all of my hammocks. They are strong and make a good drip point when it rains. They also make switching out suspensions easier. I have recommended these to all my friends.
