Will the low back version fit the REI Flexlite Macro or just the original Flexlite?

It fits (and the cat sits)

    Justin Cutler (verified owner)

I can confirm that the low back does fit the REI Flexlite Macro, but I would have preferred horizontal baffles in the low back configuration. (It doesn’t quite fit rotated 90 degrees.)

It seems to be quite warm, but I haven’t had much chance to relax in my chair as my cat immediately stole my spot when I got up.

    The cat seems quite warm.

I have one for my Big Agnes Skyline UL. It fits great vertical and horizontal, with some extra cinching. Much better than lugging one of the giant padded chairs.

A great DutchWare Chair Underquilt to fit a Helinox Ground Chair. Cinched up nicely around providing a warm fit towards a duty chair.

Great posting to the United Kingdom also.

    Thank you. ?

    Hi, two questions:

Is there a warmth rating on these?

Also, is there a way to use these as underquilts?

Do you think the tall size could fit well enough on a Nemo Stargaze Luxury recliner chair? It wouldn’t need to be perfect.

I would go off of the measurements on the site as they are true. If the chair will fit those measurements it will be good.

A chair quilt and a Surprise!

    Paul Chance (verified owner)

Not only is this a great chair quilt – remember convection heat loss occurs whenever you have air currents moving across a surface, like the back/bottom of a chair; it is also Pillow! The quilt comes with a stuff bag that holds it in pillow shape when not deployed on a chair.

This will forever come with me on any winter activities where I bring a chair. It packs down small, is incredibly warm, and doubles as my 2nd pillow when it’s time to go into the hammock. Absolute must have for winter camping.

This will definitely do the job keeping you warm. Little tricky getting it snug but a quilt hook to attach to the chair sides would help. Something I may sew on myself. Would like to see it done in down too for weight and space purposes.

With some minor modifications, this should work for a hammock chair just fine. You would just need some shock cord to create a suspension for it.

    Fantastic!

While I love bringing a chair when hiking, I am sure we have all had cold butt from one of them. My GF and I have the shorter more hike through friendly chairs and also got some cheap Chinese high back ones for car camping trips. These quilts proved to be so valuable to our experience that I have both the larger and smaller quilts for either occasion. My only word of caution is to make sure you do not get them pinched in the joints of the chair supports. The shell will tear. This is not a defect in the product but more of a defect in the chair. Our cheap knock-off brand chairs will slide loose while putting the seat on and pinch the quilt. Some stick on down jacket patches fixed it right up, but just learn from my mistakes and spare yourself the headache.

U P Chair Quilt High Back

I just got this from UPS today. It fits perfectly on the iClimb, 2 heights, compact, folding beach chair with anti-sinking large feet. It was very easy to attach due to the generous amount of adjustment available with the shock cords. Sitting in it for less than five minutes, I could feel warmth from the Underquilt. I removed the connector from one shoulder and immediately felt the coolness come back much like an underquilt on my hammock. Like everything else from Dutchware, it is well-made, simple to use, fairly made priced and MADE IN THE USA! ??????

  21. Question

    DeadHead

What is the weight of each chair quilt? Seems logical you would have that available on the site but I don’t see it anywhere in the summary, the Description tab, or the Additional Information.

If you choose your chair quilt option in the drop down the weight will show up right above the “add to cart” button. This weight changes in real time as you choose your options.

You could make these work with some minor suspenion modification. It would be a DIY solution though since we don’t provide that.
