Used this to make a temporary under quilt out of a Coleman summer sleeping bag.Used this to make a temporary under quilt out of a Coleman summer sleeping bag. Worked perfect, now we are going to use it to upgrade to woobie under quilts. It’s great quality, even with a sleeping bag that heavy it never broke. We stretched it to the limit and it snapped back every time, even after timing it off for two days.

Shock Cord 1/8 (25′)
I only needed a few feet of Shock cord for self-tension lines running from my tarp but I’m glad I got 25′ of it. I keep finding more reasons to use it and for the price it’s worth having extra on hand.

Ordered 25 feet of 1/8th shock cord mainly for line tensioners for my tarp tie outs. I keep finding more and more uses for it. Lashing items to my backpack, prusick knots on my ridgeline, various purposes. Will be buying more

It is exactly what it says it is. I used the 1/16 with toggles to make sleeping pad tie downs for my quilt.

Will 1/16 work for building a Tarp Pole Mod?
Why is the 3/32 typically used/suggested/better?
Thanks for helping educate the new guy!

You Can use 1/16 and it will work just fine. We normally use 3/32 because it’s a little stronger and has more elasticity to it.
