First the good. The size and weight of these mini cord locks is ideal if you are looking for a small cord lock on a lightweight stuff sack, particularly a smaller stuff sack. The hole is generous for a mini cord lock. You can easily fit up to two strands of 2.4 mm (3/32″) cord.
Weight = 0.46 g.
Height, unloaded = 16.7mm (0.658″).
Height w/ 1.5 mm cord = 15.3 mm (0.602″).
Width = 8.9 mm (0.351″).
Thickness = 5.9 mm (0.233″).
Width of hole = 5.0 mm (0.198″).
Height of hole = 3.7 mm (0.147″).
Second the bad. The spring is weak. I tried various non-elastic polyester and nylon drawcords from about 1.2 mm to 3/32″ and could slide the cord lock up and down the cord with not much force. Compared to other cord locks I had in my sewing stash of the same size or slightly larger, these cord locks had the weakest spring. When I tried these cord locks with 1/16″ shock cord the hold was adequate (but still the weakest).
Conclusion. Since I don’t use shock cord for my DIY stuff sacks I won’t purchase these again, which is too bad because the size, weight, shape and price were excellent.

The perfect size cord lock. Ultralight and tiny with a strong hold. Works well with Lash-It and thinner shockcord.

Perfect for my needs
I thought that these would be perfect for making my woobie underquilt. I was absolutely correct. 3/32 shock cord and a simple overhand knot. Done!
