Good Buckle
I had some extra polyester webbing from tree straps and figured I’d try to make my own belt. I love this little buckle and it’s been working great for holding up my pants.

Buckles worked great for adding snowshoe straps to the back of my pack, very secure and they did not seem excessively prone to jamming with snow and ice. The 5/8 polyester webbing was a bit thick for these and at times made cinching challenging, but I fault the webbing choice not the buckle.

I was worried maybe this buckle wouldnt hold secure because its so easy to close (so then maybe also to open) but it hold secure. Super convenient bc it adjusts on both sides as opposed to most others that adjust only on one side and need the other to be looped.
