I would not recommend it as at a max it will handle up to 2.5mm diameter rope an para cord is normally about 4mm in diameter.

Is this the correct item for adjustable secondary underquilt suspension? Attached to grosgrain loops on the quilt corners? If not the best option could you recommend something?

  4. Question

    jcwathey

Does this work with your 1 mm Dutch wire? I know the specs say 1.5 mm is the minimum, but I’d love to use this with Dutch wire. Have you tried it? Does it slip?

This solved my sleeping bag quilt problem!

    mickeyboy2005 (verified owner)

On my quilt that I bought elsewhere, I have loops that connect to mitten hooks that connect to shock cord (that is wrapped around my sleeping mat).
The mitten hooks keep on allowing the quilt loops to slip out, making the quilt loose and allowing air in, ruining my sleep). So here is how it’s fixed….
On the shock cord that is wrapped around my sleeping mat, tie a short piece of 3/32 shock cord (say 500 mm / 20 inches approx.) on the left side, and another on the right side.
Tie a small loop on the “Line Lock Light” then connect that to your loop on the quilt using the “Larks Head” knot configuration (Do this to both sides).
Then pass the 3/32 shock Cord (connected to your mat) through the “Line Lock light” (that is connected to your quilt).
There you have it! An adjustable bungee action tension allowing you to still move around and get in or out.

  8. Question

    andrewrdixon1

I have some 1.7mm guylines, would either the 15mm or 10mm hardware work? It’s for a tarp shelter so I’m a little worried about slippage.
