Nothing wrong with the strength of this product but something is seriously wrong with the color they used. I bought a full spool in black but found out the color just
rubs off leaving black marks everywhere I use it. It’s not ok. If I don’t want black stains on my fingers and gear I have to wash the line before I use it – and then it turns grey. Might as well have bought a grey spool instead. Not too happy about this. I own several spools in various colors but never experienced this.

Hi Christian,
Sorry to see this negative review. Unfortunately, this is a known issue with Samson rope Amsteel and Lash-it products. Most colors do this but some more than others.
