Batchstovez 1.0
From: $16.75
Great for solo hiking or day trips can be used with Heine/Foster pot, 12 oz. Cook Pot or IMUSA mug
The Batchstovez Aluminum bottle stove is one of the easiest alcohol stoves you will ever use. Simply add alcohol to the center and light within 60 seconds you’re ready to use. The BS 1.0 is constructed with a two-piece design that utilizes a conical inside wall that adds vertical strength. The rim has a smooth rolled edge to seal the two together and provides horizontal strength. The BS 1.0 is a smaller diameter and works well with smaller pots. Although the two-piece design is more labor intensive it makes a stronger more durable stove and will provide a lifetime of use.

This is a great little stove. I got the cold weather wrap and it comes to a bloom very quickly. It works with just about any pot, but I’m using it mostly with the 10 cm IMUSA mug. I have many alcohol stoves, but this is quickly becoming my favorite.

Question
longlw –
Could someone please explain what the cold weather wrap is for and how it is used. I cannot find that information anywhere online. Even the You Tube vids by BatchStovez assume you know what it is and how to make it work. I think it is to help speed up the stove blooming, but nowhere is it explained how to do that.
Thanks

The wick wrap is to speed up bloom time in cold weather.
