As a Seamstress for Dutchware Gear, you will be responsible for producing high-quality outdoor gear and equipment using various fabrics and materials. You will work closely with our design team to create prototypes and production samples, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all final products meet our strict quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines and other equipment to produce high-quality outdoor gear and equipment
- Cut and sew fabric according to established patterns and specifications
- Collaborate with our design team to create prototypes and production samples
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet our high quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities as needed
Qualifications:
- At 1-2 years of experience as a seamstress or tailor is preferred but not required
- Experience working with industrial sewing machines and other equipment
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and sewing techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Title: Sewing Quality Control (QC) & Floater
Department: Production – Sewing
Reports To: Sewing Supervisor / Production Manager

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and flexible Sewing QC & Floater to join our production team. This role ensures that sewn products meet company quality standards and production requirements. In addition to performing quality control inspections, the floater will provide hands-on support across different sewing operations to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect sewn products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
- Identify defects, document findings, and communicate corrective actions to the sewing team.
- Assist sewing operators with rework, repairs, or adjustments as needed.
- Float between different workstations to support workflow and help meet daily production goals.
- Maintain accurate QC records and report production issues to supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to company safety, quality, and production guidelines.
- Assist with training new team members in quality expectations and sewing best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sewing, garment construction, or textile manufacturing preferred.
- Strong understanding of sewing techniques and garment quality standards.
- Ability to operate sewing machines and perform minor adjustments.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and support multiple areas of production.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in sewing or textiles a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity for operating sewing machines and inspecting garments.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

Salary: $17/Hr
This is an hourly position and pay is dependent on skills and experience.
This position requires you to be on site daily.

- Pick, pack, and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of all shipments
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
- Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and any delays or issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping issues as they arise
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in e-commerce shipping and fulfillment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with shipping software and tools, such as ShipStation or similar is preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20-30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus
- Must be able to read, write and speak English and have knowledge of basic measurements.

Dutchware Gear is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production & Metal Shop Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This position offers variety, working across multiple production areas to support our outdoor gear manufacturing process.
- Mark fabrics with patterns using chalk
- Operate webbing cutter
- Assemble metal shop products
- Assist in metal shop operations, including:
- Grinding
- Cutting
- Drilling
- Milling
- Polishing
- Perform shop upkeep duties, including trash and cardboard removal
- Fill down products with insulation
- Serve as a “floater” to support different departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Ability to work with hand tools and basic machinery
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in different production areas
- Team player with a positive, adaptable attitude
- Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
