It is a breathable fabric so it should not create heat however it is filled with climashield so that may not work for you.

Question
mariewright82 –
Can this be stored in my backpack when not in use for a while? Or should it be out like a sleeping bag? Thanks!

DutchWare Gear –
To give the pillow a maximum life I would recommend not compacting the pillow down inside your pack and to store it like a sleeping bag or quilt.

The singe most important thing after a hard hike / bike etc. is getting a good recharge during sleep. The singe most important thing after a hard hike / bike etc. is getting a good recharge during sleep. I have tried clothes bunched up, platypus bladder in a stuff sack, airplane neck pillow, & many big box as well as cottage industry pillows made for hammocks.
I found most hammock pillows have way too much loft / filling pushing your chin into your chest. I naturally decided to give dutch pillow a shot cause all the dutchware i own is superior.
Dutch did it again! This pillow is just right! Super soft , just the right about of support & perfect for gathered end hammocks. Highly recommend

Perfect size for hammocks
Just the right size and fluff for a hammock. The fabric is very soft and the tie out loop helps keep it from drifting to far from where your head is.

My parents got me this for a birthday present and I was so excited they did! I love my Argon pillow.
My parents got me this for a birthday present and I was so excited they did! I love my Argon pillow. It’s the perfect size to just give that little neck support I need when sleeping in my hammock. The material is so soft, better then any nylon type fabric I have felt so far. I attached some cord to the loop sown on the top and then connect the other end of the cord to an s binder to my ridgeline, so I never lose it getting in and out. And now it just permanently lives with my hammock. Even fits packed into the bishop bag with my hammock needs to travel. Great product Dutch!
