We do a combination of hiring a designer and doing some of the work ourselves. This latest version was pretty much done by a web designer.

It will weigh between 320 grams to 350 grams depending on what options you choose. As you change the options on the page the weight at the bottom will change with it.

Any plans to make a kit for the bugnet?

I used 1.6 hexon for the hammock and got everything put together in a few hours. I really like the hammock but the kit isn’t complete to make the one they instructions make. The instructions call for little metal triangles that were custom made from Dutchware to be used to connect the dog bones on each end. These aren’t included in the kit and Dutchware wasn’t able to provide when I asked. They aren’t vital to get the hammock to work but would be nice to include in the kit.

Question
dylaimtice –
What is the weight RATING of this hammock?
Question was already asked (Mark Eddington – August 17, 2018), but the response supplied the product weight and not it’s weight bearing capability.

Dave Gantz –
This depends on the fabric used and the quality of the work and stitching to make the hammock. Our Banyan Bridge Hammock with Hexon 1.6 holds up to 250 pounds. The Hexon 1.0 fabric itself holds up to 200 pounds.
