I used this on my 2022 PCT LASH of 1300 mi., and many times since. It works perfectly in the interval between getting started on a cold morning start, and being warmed up enough to pack away. WITHOUT STOPPING to take off or put on, and without back sweat. Also perfect in cold over a fleece when a full puffy would be too hot, and the open back (with pack) again makes nicely breathable. I can’t tell why this isn’t more popular. It doesn’t win any fashion points: maybe that’s it. I like that the big scoop neck allows easy access to water bottles on shoulder straps.
