The Helion Top Cover is designed to be completely enclosed and does not include a mesh vent. With the Helion fabric we have found that it can increase the inside temperatures of your hammock up to 15 degrees with proper insulation. Since Helion is a vapor permeable material it allows your moisture to escape through the fabric and limit the condensation inside. Temperatures in the mid to upper to teens and above have seen the best results. Once taken into single digits and below you may start to experience condensation.
Helion fabric is the ultimate lightweight, extremely breathable, and waterproof fabric that will have an amazingly soft hand feel. This 3 layer fabric features a DWR coated ripstop nylon outer layer, a waterproof yet vapor permeable membrane in the middle, and a moisture wicking tricot inner layer.
