New poles for a Mark2 Hybrid Hammock

    George Simmons (verified owner)

I purchased a Mark2 Hybrid Hammock (air-to-ground) in September, 2025. Clark was subsequently bought by DutchWare. Along the way, I lost, left my hammock poles at a campground, or put them some place with the rest of my canoeing/camping gear so that I “would always know where to find them”!!! But, alas, they’re gone. I contacted DutchWare and Vicki and John came to my rescue. A new set of poles for this hybrid hammock with modern upgrades. And, what beautiful, functional poles they are. I’m sorry I lost the original poles, but I’m so glad to have the new ones. And, Vicky and John were such nice, helpful individuals with whom to work. DutchWare has the “cream of the crop” if those two represent the rest of the staff!!!
The pole segments come attached to each other with special clips and an elastic shock chord. I honestly thought the poles would assemble themselves!!! I did take the initiative to purchase two lengths of PVC pipe to store each segment in a canoe dry bag. I didn’t want to risk damage to such excellent pieces of hammock hardware being tossed about in a dry bag. I’m sure these poles will outlast me!!!
It’s comforting ot know DutchWare takes care of the former customers of Clark Outdoors juist as well as they take care of their current clientele.!!!!
