Gear Roll-Up
$22.68
A multipurpose bag is the only way to describe the Gear Roll-Up bag. Inside the bag we have 6 pockets designed for stakes and one larger pocket that could hold rope, suspension, or even more stakes. Once the bag is opened up there will be a deep pocket in the back with a draw string at the top creating a large stuff sack. We have also sewn on mitten hooks in the top corners so you will be able to hang the bag from your suspension or ridgeline.

Question
Benjamin Swanson –
Is there any chance of a single layer version coming out sans-stuff sack? I’d love to have the roll up with mitten hooks, but I don’t have any use for the bag portion.

Question
Daniel Gottliebson –
If you have zing it cord cordage spliced on to the steak will it accommodate the steaks in that spot for steaks?

Dave Gantz –
It should fit! If not, you can stuff the extra Zing-it in the larger pouch alongside the stakes.

Hi – could this hold 6 x MSR Groundhogs (not the minis), some cordage and hookworms in the small pouch and a polycro groundsheet in the main bag and still roll up?

Dave Gantz –
Yes, these items should all fit quite well.

Love the stake roll up bag , tuff durable and works great to store stuff sacks and other stuff hanging form the tarp ridgeline. only improvements i would like would be each stake pocket could hold 2 stakes and 2 bungee straps when rolled up to hold its round shape better when rolled up . But i still dig it the way it is 👍

The quality and workmanship are very high for this well laid-out piece of gear. I like the roll-up and will continue to use however I have only one complaint.
I usually permanently attach my guy lines to the stakes and roll them up around the stakes, because of the size of the stake slots, they will not fit in this manner.
The slots are made for bare stakes only.
Again, I have this baby loaded up and in use as is but just a bit disappointed it didn’t quite fit what I intended it to.
The current width is 11″ total with each slot being 1″ each. Any chance a 14″ wide model could be made available with 1.5″ slots? That would be perfect in my application.
I updated to 5 Stars after such a quick reply and immediate willingness to help with a custom size. Customer service goes a long way with me and I get such a nice piece to boot!

Keeps everything snug where it needs to be and you don’t have to worry about dirt/tree sap on stakes/straps getting on anything else in your bag. I know you’re probably thinking “is this really worth it? seems a bit extra” because like me you were using some random bag.. but unless you’re doing extreme ultralight then it’s totally worth the minor price and 40g extra weight. I rather enjoy having all of my stuff exactly where I left it and easily accessible.
