These are light weight and reasonably strong stakes though a little short in soft soil.

These are light weight and reasonably strong stakes though a little short in soft soil. I have had a few break where the cord passes through the stake when pounding into frozen packed earth.

These stakes are crazy light and quite resistant to bending.

These stakes are crazy light and quite resistant to bending. The cord loops give you plenty of leverage for driving them into firm soil by hand and retrieving them later. They are svelte, so they take up almost no room when packed with your hammock, tarp, or tent. Driving them fully into the ground with your guy lines perpendicular seems to give a good hold under most soil conditions.

lightweight, super durable, really don’t bend

Used these about 10 x by now. None have bent. Most of them have my tarp tie outs attached- they are too swanky to lose… I really like the “nail” head end- if you need to pound them in, you can, and they don’t crumple.

Has anyone used this as a toggle too? thinking of carrying gear that can have dual function in a pinch

Yes if you would like to use this as a toggle and make it into a dual function you will be fine.

I have titanium pegs I bought from Amazon on another tarp and really fell in love with the nail style stake. You can use them in almost anything. I always watch my friends struggle in rocky places with the Y stakes. I wanted to go even lighter with my dyneema tarp and got these. There are a little thinner than my others- but that’s to be expected with a lighter weight. I tied my guy line on them so that most of the tension seems to be on the lower portion of the stake. I didn’t want to put the tension on the hole itself. The material is pretty thin and didn’t want to risk breaking it.
