Are these heat/flame resistant? I want to use them around my cook pot to create a lip to sit on in a Caldera Cone.. they won’t be in a fire, but the alcohol flame might lick up the side and touch them.. will they burn?

You can use them for cook pot grip. I would not keep them in a place or put them in a place where they will be in contact with flame as they could melt.
