Split Personalities

We like to mix up what we do outside. A great weekend for us might mean backpacking to camp on Friday night, then spending Saturday trail running out from camp to work up our appetites. For the runs, we just cinch the Sassafras flat to use it as a hydration pack. We use the zippered sleeve in the back panel for a hydration bladder or to store a jacket closer up against the back. 1. Question

    1. If I purchase, how do I specify my measurements? It is made-to-order, correct?
    2. Do you know if the side pockets will fit 1.0L Platypus SoftBottles? Thanks

This is not a custom pack and comes as is with all the specifications that are listed on the site. The pockets on your shoulder will hold the 1L smart water bottle but is not wide enough for a platypus but they will fit on the back of the pack where the green fabric is.

5 out of 5 Best backpack for me

Got it about two months ago so I cannot talk about durability over time, but I use it everyday and seems fine. Camping, hiking, even city running or even work (I never do this with my gear but I really love this one).
Heavier on scale than my dfc Nero and my hmg south (like both for different moments) but feels so much lighter because of the fit, the stability I guess. Many adjustments I can do depending on the situation and what I bring. Many pockets, storage, all I need, more. At first was a bit smaller than I imagined, smaller than zp nero, then I adapted and doesn’t feel it anymore, just choosing better what I bring on the trail. Never had problem with water getting in, maybe some front pockets could have been waterproof (none really closes) for added map protection but I don’t mind some things getting wet and I can still have it in added waterproof bags. I have to say I’m a fan of Yama (Gen) s work. Always quality craftsmanship, really good and honest advices if asked. Thanks Dutch and Carolyn for promoting his work, I’m a fan of yours also.
