    Awesome quick project

Easy, quick project – I used a small needle, Tera 80 thread, and a sliding foot because I do not have a rolled hem foot.. now I can store a wet hex tarp separate from the hammock!

    Nice stuff sack, very light..

The result from this kit is very nice, and light. I modified the construction a bit, though. First, I put a strip of grosgrain ribbon most of the length of the fabric, and sewed some bar tacks, so I could make a very light daisy chain. I used a small patch of grosgrain on the back side, to reinforce it. This lets me slide a strap through the daisy chain, just to make sure that the stuff sack doesn’t slip off my pack and I don’t notice. Right after I sewed the grosgrain on, I folded over about 1.5-2 inches of the edges over (dog eared them), and sewed the “ears” down, Then, when I sewed the length of the fabric together, I had finished edges for the channels holding the drawcord. Finally, I folded the channels over, and sewed the channel. I ended up with a really nice and light stuff sack.
