Question
Admin MattMabry –
Would this cord work well for a draw string closer on a diy stuff sack?

Yes but it is pretty small so the cord lock should also be small.

It looks like we are out of stock at the moment. We should have more in soon.

Admin JohnPrice –
Would micro cord work well for guide lines from tarp to stakes?

It is a pretty small diameter and can tangle. I suggest Dutch wire, Lawson cord, reflect it, or zing it. However the Micro cord is strong enough and can wok.

I got this to try out for replacing wrist lanyards on a bunch of flashlights (I’m a collector, although my wife would say hoarder). It works great for that and thousand other things. I’ve macrame’d a few zipper pulls and keychains from it, replaced broken/missing stuff sack draw cord with it and even use it for tarp guy outs. Yes, the thin diameter can lead to tangling, but I keep the lines connected to my tarp and just roll them up inside the mesh sleeves. This seems to minimize tangles pretty well. However, I always keep a partial roll with me in case I need to replace or extend a line.

Are the Tan & Olive Green actually a smaller diameter “Nano Cord” & longer lengths as indicated by the label on the spool in the photos? Thank you.

The tan and olive green are micro cord – the photos are just a representation of the colors.
