I bought this to make my 11′ hammock, and I love it. It’s incredibly comfortable, feels nice to the touch, packs down great, costs 1/2 the price of buying a typical name brand hammock, and it weighs less.

My friends with name brand hammocks often call me names, and say that they’re slightly jealous because my set up cost 1/2 as much, packs down smaller, and weighs less. Be prepared to be hated because of your beauty.

    Wonderful

I’ve slept every night in the 4 yards of this beautiful Moroccan Blue I received weeks ago. No sewing! Just gathered ends and looped through bights to hang, amazingly easy. Raw edges seem unlikely to unravel, don’t even look bad.

  4. Question

    aphroditecu29

If I want to experiment with different lengths prior to sewing my hammock by whipping the ends, will that make it more difficult to sew the end channels after it is all crinkled up from being whipped?

  6. Question

    simon.binder

Is the nylon material post-treated in any way? If it has been post-treated to show DWR, for example, what treatment has it undergone (PFC-free, halogen-free, eco-friendly…)?
