    Just the best stove

Really low weight stove. Very simple and smart made. Bought 1 several years ago and after 50+ hikes still happy I have it. Also a really good thing for emergency to have it in a kit. Some wood you will be able to find everywhere, instead of gas for your jetboil… 😉 usually it takes 3-5 minutes to boil a water in a cup. Dont forget to close your cup, or this process could take up to 8-10 minutes.

It is a pity you dont sell any sealed case for this stove… maybe it will be your next project?

    A light, versatile stove!

I bought the Element Wood Stove after extensively researching available stoves. It didn’t seem to be as popular as the Emberlit or Vargo stoves, however, there was something about its design that made sense to me. I’m very happy that I chose it (I was later given a Vargo stove as a gift, but prefer the Element Wood Stove).

Depending upon the quality of fuel that I have access to, I can generally boil water in around 5-8 min.

I carry this stove on nearly all of my hikes for three reasons: 1) I prefer using fuel that I can gather in the backwoods. 2) The stove serves perfectly as a windscreen for my alcohol stove in the event that I want to use that instead. 3) It provides me a backup heating source in the event of an issue with my alcohol stove.

You can see this stove in action in this video of mine: https://youtu.be/nxOfVPr-YH0

I highly recommend this little stove!

    Excellent stove!

I have had this stove for nearly two years and although it is not my primary cooking stove (alcohol stove), it is my favorite! I like my little “bonfire” after a long day of hiking!

    Thumbs Up!

Love this stove! It goes with me on every outing. The folding design stores flat and almost anywhere. Burns hot with great air flow. Sturdy and stable for cook pots. I’ve only used it to boil water, which it does very efficiently.

5 out of 5 Very cool little stove

I especially like the hinged design: Pull 1 pin and it folds up small. I use a small zip top sandwich bag to store, so it’s about the footprint of a slice of bread, but way thinner. It’s very well and solidly built, everything lines up perfectly and it’s

I’ve used it with sticks, lumber, charcoal, and even a soda can alcohol stove. It’s even a decent mini-campfire if you don’t want to gather much wood.
