Our Deuce Scoop is the ultimate ultralight titanium “potty trowel”.  It has a perfect blend of size, weight and strength. They are made from Aerospace Grade 5 Titanium which makes them super strong for their weight, they are precision cut, then they are run through a vibratory tumbler, so the edges are silky smooth and lastly, they are bent on a specialty made jig in three places to increase strength and optimize scooping power.  The trowel measures 7″ long x 2″ wide x .75oz (22 grams).  Made by DutchWare, and of course they are Made in the USA.

    It does what it should….Got this as a replacement for a heavier trowel that I carry for backpacking. Looking forward to using it next weekend on a trek. Definitely will lighten the load when I have to “lighten the load”.

    What sets this scoop apart from others I have tried is that it is smooth on all the edges. I have tried another brand ultralight trowel and quickly abandoned it due to sharp edges that not only made it difficult to use but also sliced my backpack pocket. This is just what you would expect from Dutch, high quality and thoughtfully made gear. As described, it is silky smooth to protect your hands and other gear while the overall cut of the trowel makes digging a breeze.
