DAC 32 Inch Spreader Bar Pole

$16.50

These DAC Spreader Bar Poles have a total length of 32-inches, which is a great length to use when you are hanging two hammocks side by side. These larger diameter poles are engineered with thinner walls to reduce weight without a loss of strength. They are compatible with our Beetle Buckle or Double Hammock Whoopie Hook suspension systems and could also be used for the foot end of a Bridge Hammock. We have a 17-inch female pole and a 15-inch male pole, and they will both come with a tip. The maximum weight limit will be 400 pounds. When taken apart, these poles are equal length for convenience when storing.

DAC Poles: The global leader in tent pole technology. The first advantage comes from DAC’s development of its own custom aluminum alloy, TH72M. The second advantage comes from DAC’s years and years of experimentation and development of rigorous production process controls. So, it’s no surprise that the tubes from DAC, whether for tents or for chairs or other things, are genuinely the highest performance tubes in the world today. DAC poles are tested in the lab and in the field, because the best poles make better tents. DAC poles are made with sustainable Green Anodization: eliminating tons of acids during production.

  1. Question

Is the maximum weight a total weight between both hammocks, or per hammock? If it is total, would adding a second bar to the foot end, increase the total maximum weight?

This is the total weight between both hammocks. A second bar in the foot end will not increase the maximum weight limit.

Bridge Hammock – with a little trimming can these be combined for use as 38″ and 28″ spreader bars

You may be able to trim them down to 28″, but the poles come with tips installed, so it may not work to combine them to make a longer pole.

Yes you can, but you’ll need to adjust your suspension so the head end of the hammocks are lined up with each other.

We suggest using one 32″ Spreader Bar Pole at the head end. The foot end of the hammocks do not need a spreader bar pole. This video should help:

Hello, I did a quick search for measurement for the Eno Skylight and have not been able to gather the needed information to answer this question. Perhaps you can check with Eno using the measurements we provide for this product to see if they will work as a replacement. – Gwendolyn
