Description

Clip on tarp pull outs. These have a unique design with an O-ring around the doughnut making it gentle on your tarp and tacky on silicone nylon.

Because of its very unique design, the more it is pulled – the tighter the grip is on your tarp. Install in seconds, yet they are completely removable. They come with 10-feet of 3/32-inch chock cord on each tarp pull out and will open your tarp up and give you more room inside. They are great for pulling out your tarp for bridge hammock, so your pole doesn’t pierce your tarp. Designed and produced in the USA by Tato Gear.

    Does what it claims

I’ve used stones as pull out buttons, but they can damage a tarp. I’ve gone without, but that sucked. I’ve considered sewing loops on, but the thought of putting holes in my perfectly good and perfectly expensive tarp terrifies me. These do what they claim to do, and that’s all I can ask for!

exactly what i neededMy silnylon tarp always felt narrow inside. I don’t know how to sew, so for awhile I was at a lost on how to increase the space inside without having to guy out the tarp further. I saw Dutch’s video on this pull outs and they were exactly what I was looking for. They don’t hurt my pretty new tarp and now I use them every time. Y’all should buy one of these if your tarp does not already come with pull outs.

I didn’t know these existed until I stumbled upon them on this site and they are worth every penny.

I didn’t know these existed until I stumbled upon them on this site and they are worth every penny. The added space on the interior of the tarp is great and something I never realized I wanted. I haven’t taken them into the woods yet but they seem sturdy enough as long as I don’t lose them.

    Great add-on

I have had a set of these tarp pull outs for years. While my winter tarp has built-in pull outs, my two smaller tarps do not and these pull outs allow me the ability to really open up the space under my tarp. They’re a great benefit for the small amount of weight they take up.

Work great for being able to adjust tarp/fly in different weather conditions.Work great for being able to adjust tarp/fly in different weather conditions. Very easy to use and does not hurt the material of the fly. Just be careful not to loose the center white ring.

    Part of my kit now.

I bought a pair of these a while back but never had the opportunity to use them until this past overnighter. I used them to combine my super minimal tarp with my rain kilt to extend the tarp coverage. I could have been much more wet from the windy wet fog if it weren’t for these clip on tarp pull outs.

Protect Your Tarp For Dual Hammock Hanging

I recently started hanging with the wife using a spreader bar between the head ends of 2 hammocks and under one tarp. These clip on pull outs are perfect for keeping the spreader bar ends from rubbing and/or puncturing the tarp when one person gets in/out of their hammock. You can put them exactly where you need them regardless of how you pitch your tarp. I’ve used them off and on for over a year and haven’t seen any damage or marks to my tarp fabric (Xenon Sil 5300)

    Look amazing!

I’ve watched enough of the community’s videos to know how amazing tarp pullouts are! These expand the room under the tarp dramatically and would enhance my experience quite a bit. Been looking into DIYing a new tarp, been looking into the best way to add the pullouts, and this might be it.

My tarp needed pullouts. This solved that

Great lightweight and reliable way to aid in creating pullouts on a tarp that didn’t come with it (MAC Cat for example). Thanks Dutch for offering this great tarp mod. Goes great with single or dual outside tarp pole mod for more space under your tarp. Great also for ground tarp use.
