Description
The Chameleon Spreader Bar Top Cover is designed with an optional Moonlight that will completely close you into your hammock. The spreader bar keeps the top cover fabric wide open and out of your personal space. It will help you maintain warmth inside your hammock on those colder nights. You will be able to control how big the vent is on your Moonlight as it features two-way zippers on either side. You will also have the functionality to take the Moonlight completely off, being able to use the full bug net ventilation area. The options don’t stop there! Whether you like to lay head left/feet right or head right/feet left you will be able to switch your lay direction without ever getting up out of your hammock. The fabric is our proprietorially designed ARGON 90. It is breathable yet wind resistant.

I used it once. That’s it and the mosquito netting ripped. I’m sure what happened was it abraded on the peak shelf clips while in the supplied stuff sack. I wasn’t even going to say anything and just order another one. I really want to support the cottage industry, but when I went to place the order, it’s $15 more than it was when I first ordered it just a handful of months ago!! I thought this was a big Black Friday sales event and it’s more? What! Now, I’m seriously considering that they raise the prices to offset the Black Friday sales event. Bummer. I’m ordering another one because I have to but if it happens again, I won’t be back.

To address pricing, we did raise prices earlier this year as our material costs have gone up signficantly. We did not raise prices for our sale and we would never do that just to put something “on sale”.

Just what I needed. Bought this to take on multi day kayak trip to use on the colder nights. This and the regular bug net stuff down so small and are practically weightless so I decided to take both. I wasn’t prepared for the amount of condensation on the inside of it in the morning and since we pack up first thing to get back on the river, I just zipped it off and stored with my tarp until we stopped again and could let it dry (it does air dry pretty quick).
