Can I hang my hammock from these as long as I stay under the weight limit?

We do not suggest this. They will not connect with 7/64 Amsteel continuous loops, which is the smallest diamter rope we suggest for hammock suspensions.

    Suspension Extension, valid use?

    pcurtain (verified owner)

    Hi Guys!

My intended, hoped-for, use is to carry this and added (1/8 Amsteel) cordage, to extend the reach of my usual hammock suspension segments.

I just received the Bridge Bone, and, though I’d seen the coin image, I was just really shocked at how tiny it is. Good to hear the mention above about supporting 250lbs.

Is it legit to use this bridge bone to grab the two loops and bridge them together to support my hammock weight?

    Thanks!

ps> Just tested it out; nope. 🙂 Indeed, per your reply to another comment above, the clip doesn’t accept any string thick enough (like the continuous loop) to support the hammock.

SO! What hardware do you recommend for extending two lengths of that sufficient hammock Amsteel cordage?
