Awesome bugnet for an awesome price, even with the oversea shipping

Awesome bugnet for an awesome price, even with the oversea shipping. I use it on a daily basis, I’ve spent almost every night from the mid-summer to this early autumn in it, at home or on the go, and I’m so pleased with the quality that I’m planning on ordering a double layer Dutch hammock in a near future. I dropped it in an old poncho ripstop pouch bag since it doesn’t come with its own bag.

Great componnent for a flexible setup

I purchased this bugnet to use with my Dutchware wide-netless hammock. This bugnet was easier to use, and provided more visibility and ventilation than the hammocks with integrated zippered bugnets I use. No zippers to fiddle with in the middle of the night. This bugnet also gives me 3-4 season options of no net or the use of a winter-sock.

love itI have used my bugnet over my 10.5′ Dutchware hammock for a full and busy summer and fall season of camping and backpacking in VT and NH, and it has been great. My husband bought it for me as a birthday gift but was slightly skeptical of the drawstring vs our tenacious deer flys. My bugnet was easy to use and adjust while in the hammock. It was easy to get in and out of the hammock, too. It kept the deer flys, black flys, and mosquitos out of my hammock, even though I installed it inside out and left it attached to my hammock all summer long. I like being able to take the bugnet off on the few bugless days, and not carry it for late fall/early spring camping.

Just got to use my bug net for the first time and it worked flawlessly. The ease to get in and out makes it the best in my opinion. It was also easy to pull to foot end of hammock when I didn’t want it on. Great purchase!

I purchased the Fronkey bugnet for my 11 foot dual layer hammock.

I purchased the Fronkey bugnet for my 11 foot dual layer hammock. It definitely works keeping me protected from the determined biting devils. The cinched ends close up perfectly around the hammock, and the mitten hooks attach to the continuous loop to keep the net in place. I looked at other bug nets from cottage craftsmen and commercial brands. I liked this being a zipperless design, with bottom entry/shock cord cinch. When I’m in the hammock I can cinch it closed and rest comfortably in an insect free environment. I’ve had bad luck with zippers on equipment in the past, so this is a good simple design that won’t get snagged or have failed zippers. Constructed with quality materials and craftsmanship typical of what I’ve experienced with Dutchware products so far. Keep up the good work!

I got Dutchware net-less hammock with fixed ridge line so i could easily adjust my under quilt while laying in the hammock.

I got Dutchware net-less hammock with fixed ridge line so i could easily adjust my under quilt while laying in the hammock. The Fronkey net takes the net-less hammock into bug season with the same ability to easily adjust your quilt. The full net lets me kick a leg out of my quilt if I get too warm, so it seems worth the extra ounces and cost over a half net hammock. The bug net and my single layer hammock just fit into the hammock stuff sack so it sets up and packs up easily.

Nice bottom entry bug net! I wanted to DIY but the season slipped up on me. Dutch makes high quality hammock gear! You can’t go wrong with any item sold on this site. Thanks for keeping me hanging comfy!

    Keeps the Bugs Out!

As always Dutch has excellent shipping speeds and high quality products. I have used this bug net on multiple outings with my netless hexon hammock and have been extremely happy with it.

It is very easy to get in and out of. I am able to stand inside the net and get all my sleep gear sorted out. The stitching is high quality and the netting is superb. So far no bugs inside this netting. Only some on the outside trying to get in!

I highly recommend this bug net.

    Bottom Entry Bugnet

After a overnighter in a hammock, using a army surplus mosquito net jury rigged on(which did keep bugs out) I decided to get a net already to just slip on. I ordered it 5/31/17 and received it today 6/3/17. That’s what I call speedy service. Thanks Dutch.

    Works like a dream!

My old DIY bottom entry was holed in a few places and I’d been wanting to see how these compared for a while: first, the 11ft works fine with my ENO Double-Nest used in combination with a full size gear hammock. It has an elastic entry which seals up tight to the under-slung gear hammock, and the netting itself is also very elastic, so it stays wrinkle free and out of my face, no matter how I lay in the hammock. It took me about 5 minutes to add it to my already hanging hammock, one end at a time through the suspension openings and I just hooked the ends one or two loops higher than the hammocks on the daisy chain straps. Exits are a bit more complicated than my DIY setup was, because I didn’t have a shock corded entry, but this is by no means difficult, and it’s lighter weight and less bulky in the pack..

    Awesome bugnet

Honestly, my only complaint about this bugnet is that it’s packed size is bigger than I was expecting. It actually comes in under the listed weight. I ordered the 11ft version and it weight 5.93oz on my scale at home. I like the cord locks on the ends and bottom. There’s nothing not to like about this thing. Great product!

    Simple but great

I paired this with the 11′ netless hexon 1.0 for a very lightweight year round setup and am very happy. I thought bugs might come in the bottom but it’s kept them all out over 8 nights in spring/summer. Getting in and out is easier than i thought as well and with this style, there are no zippers to add weight or break over time. Great simple product!

12-foot version works perfectly with my netless hammock

    evans.will (verified owner)

I ordered this to go with my 12-footer made by Dutch. The installation is as quick and easy and it even looks good without any extra material sagging down and touching the ground. I camped for 2 nights in the North Georgia mountains which are humid and hot with the bugs to go with it. Not a single crawler or flyer got into my hammock. Funnily enough, I think I slept even better on the 2nd night knowing how good the bug net worked to keep random crawlers off me. Also, the bottom entry is really well executed. I was able to quickly swing my feet out and down, then stretch the opening up over my shoulders and stand up outside my hammock without feeling like I was stressing anything.
