ARGON 49 Fabric is specially made for us as the cutting-edge ultimate nylon quilt material. This 7 denier taffeta fabric resists wind and sheds water enough to be the outer shell of a quilt, yet it is breathable enough to be used as the inner shell. It has a very tight weave and a quality DWR coating, is calendared and completely down proof. The material has a silky feel and is baby soft.

      Go for no heat. If any hardware gets hot and then sits on the fabric after the drier stops, it may melt the fabric. So be sure to not let this happen.

      We are transitioning to carbon free DWR this year, so we plan to have this fabric available in eco-friendly DWR by the end of 2022.
