That is pounds per 25 foot. Also here is grams and ounces per 25 foot…
      Weight: 0.5 oz. / 12.9 grm.

Look no further for your guyline cord

Love this cord. Ultra light weight cord excels as a guyline tieout for your tarp. Though it’s a bit slipper with some knots, it is splicable, and works very well with plastic hardware like the Lineloc 3 and regular Lineloc. Withstood some pretty strong winds over 2 days, no slipping or stretching. Well done Dutchware!

    Love this stuff

I’ve used this several times to make ridge lines, pack hangers, etc. Super easy to work with, the weave is a bit looser than zing it and this makes it a breeze to do buries, splices or whatever else you might be working on. Also the added color choices instead of just the traditional yellow and gray are a plus.

  5. Question

    Admin DanielJansen

How’s the texture of the cord? I find Zing-it to be more slippery than I like to work with. Does this hold slide knots better than Zing-it?

Zing it has a slippery coating on it until you have used it a bit. That is by design because it was made as a throw rope for arbor industry.
The 1.75 does not have that coating so you are left with just dyneema which is a little slick.

It is fine in the sun light and it will not affect it.

Does it fade drastically like amsteel? I’ve had “black” amsteel whoopie slings that fade into a dark grey after 10 or so uses and then become light grey after 100 or so uses.

Much better in my opinion than lash it or zing it. Feels slicker so it’s better for the types of rough palm trees we have in FL. Zing it starts to fray and get loose threads after sliding around these rough splintery trees a few dozen times, I guess we’ll see how will this cord holds up, but right now I love it. I’m going to use it to re-do my chameleon ridge line too. Splices incredibly easily, even easier than zing it. Feels more like skinny Amsteel. I’m just going to go ahead and buy 300’ in case they ever stop carrying it. The black color looks great too! Thanks Dutch!
